Bas Weggemans

Bas Weggemans is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Treasury Manager at ING since September 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing the capital and liquidity adequacy within the global Balance Sheet and Capital Management team. Previously held positions at ING include Financial Risk Officer, focusing on market and credit risks, and Market Risk Officer, specializing in interest rate and foreign exchange risk. Prior to these roles, Bas Weggemans participated in the ING International Talent Programme as a Risk Trainee. An academic background includes a Master of Arts in History from the University of Amsterdam and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management, along with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, all from the University of Twente.
