Bassem Hemida

Bassem Hemida currently serves as the CISO for Global Threat Management at ING since August 2023. Prior to this role, Bassem Hemida was employed at Deloitte from February 2016 to July 2023, progressing from Assistant Manager to Senior Manager. Bassem Hemida also held positions at Microsoft from July 2014 to August 2021, including a role as a YouthSpark Advocate. Earlier experience includes working as a Senior Information Security Consultant at Securemisr and an Information Security Specialist at Diyar United Company. Bassem Hemida's career began at Raya as an Information Security Engineer, where responsibilities included security flaw exploitation and vulnerability testing. Additional experience includes roles at Microsoft Corporation in a Citizenship program and as a Microsoft Student Partner while attending Tanta University, where a degree in Computer and Control was earned between 2006 and 2011.
