Bouke Hoving

Bouke Hoving serves as the Global CIO and a member of the Wholesale and Retail Banking Management Teams at ING since March 2019, in addition to holding the role of Global Head of IT Strategy & Transformation and acting as Global Chief Data Officer. Hoving is also a Visiting Lecturer for The New CIO - CTO - CDO Program at Erasmus University Rotterdam and participated as a member of the Knowledge Platform CIO Central Government for the Rijksoverheid from January 2021 to December 2023. With extensive experience at KPN from 1999 to 2019 in various executive roles, Hoving has also contributed as a guest speaker at IMD and Vlerick Business School. Hoving’s educational background includes Master of Science degrees in Economics and Applied Physics from the University of Groningen, as well as ongoing study in Financial Markets at the University of Amsterdam. Additional professional development includes programs at London Business School, IMD, Harvard Business School, and the London School of Economics.
