Brett Forbes

Brett Forbes is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and project finance. Currently serving as the Global Lead Infrastructure Finance and Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure Finance Europe at ING since September 2007, Brett specializes in originating and executing financing transactions in the European infrastructure sector, managing a loan portfolio of approximately EUR 6 billion. Previously, Brett held various leadership roles, including Director and Head of Transport and PPP at Commerzbank AG, where notable achievements consisted of leading significant transactions across Europe and advising the Scottish Government on compensation negotiations. Earlier career milestones include senior managerial positions at Westpac and its subsidiary Partnership Pacific, along with experience as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG New Zealand. Brett holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Canterbury.
