Burak Somer is a senior financial markets executive with over 20 years of experience in sales strategy and client coverage across Turkey and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Currently, Burak serves as the Head of Financial Markets Sales for ING, responsible for oversight of nine countries in the region and leading digitalization initiatives. Previously, Burak held significant roles at Garanti BBVA, Finansinvest, and Yapı Kredi, where Burak specialized in sales of structured products and derivatives. Burak obtained an Executive MBA from Boğaziçi University and a BA in Banking & Finance from Bilkent University.
