Daniele Dondi is an experienced professional in digital strategy and innovation within the banking sector. Currently serving as Lead Digital Strategy and Innovation for Wholesale Banking at ING from June 2022 to December 2024, Daniele is responsible for strategic innovation projects related to digital assets commissioned by the ING Management Board. Previously, Daniele led the ING Innovation Labs in Amsterdam, overseeing new product development and venture spin-outs. Daniele's career at ING Nederland from October 2008 to January 2017 included roles such as Innovation & Service Development Manager, Project/Business Manager, and Innovation Manager, where Daniele focused on technology-driven solutions and process improvement initiatives. Daniele also co-founded the ING Innovation Studio, the first corporate accelerator for ING. In addition, Daniele served as a mentor at Startupbootcamp from September 2014 to January 2018. Academically, Daniele holds a master's degree in management engineering from Politecnico di Milano and has completed overseas studies in commercial engineering at UTFSM in Chile.
