Darrel Ho

Darrel Ho is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in project finance, particularly in the renewables and power sectors. Currently serving as Director at ING since September 2022, Darrel leads projects within the Renewables and Power Team. Prior to this role, Darrel held the position of Senior Director at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Limited, overseeing new project finance transactions across various sectors, including specialty finance, real estate, and aviation. As Executive Director at CIBC, Darrel co-led the establishment of a project finance team that secured commitments exceeding $1 billion within four years. Additional experience includes senior roles at GE Energy Financial Services, Fortis Capital, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Deutsche Bank, and UBS, contributing to diverse project finance initiatives in energy and infrastructure. Darrel holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School and has a foundational education from the International School Manila.
