David Havrlant

David Havrlant is the Chief Economist at ING Czech Republic, a position they have held since 2024, where they focus on macroeconomic analysis, model-based forecasting, and public economic discourse. David previously worked as an economist at the Czech National Bank from 2007 to 2014, contributing to inflation forecasts and monetary policy analysis. Their experience also includes roles at KAPSARC, Moody’s Analytics, the European Commission, and the European Central Bank. David holds a Ph.D. in econometrics and operational research, with a minor in philosophy, from the University of Economics in Prague.
