David Sharp

David Sharp is an accomplished compliance and audit professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Director and UK Head of Conduct Compliance at ING since April 2020, David also holds the position of Director for Wholesale Banking Compliance Monitoring. Prior to this role, David worked as an Audit Director at MUFG from January 2019 to April 2020 and spent several years at ING in various auditing capacities, including Corporate Audit Services for Commercial Banking. David's career also includes significant tenure at Mizuho Bank as Managing Executive of the Internal Audit Division in Europe, as well as leadership roles at Euroclear and Arthur Andersen. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from the University of Essex, completed in 1998.
