David Stomps

David Stomps is a seasoned professional in the field of structured finance and renewable energy, currently serving as the Director of Sector Coverage for Renewables & Power at ING since July 2023. With extensive experience since June 2014 in structured projects, David has managed a diverse portfolio of wind and solar energy projects across various countries, including Germany, Italy, the UK, and Poland. Prior to joining ING, David held multiple roles at NORD/LB over a decade, culminating in the position of Director in Structured Finance Energy Origination, where responsibilities included structuring non-recourse financing and leading significant renewable energy initiatives. An academic background in Business Administration, with a focus on Intercultural Management and Finance, was attained at Hochschule Stralsund from 2008 to 2012.
