Diederik Stadig is an economist at ING since March 2023, responsible for report writing and analysis, complemented by advanced skills in related areas. Previously, Diederik served as a PhD Candidate and Lecturer in Political Economy at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from September 2018 to November 2022, where research focused on the drivers and effects of corporate tax reform and teaching included courses in Comparative Politics, Macroeconomics II, Political Institutions, and Public Economics. Additionally, Diederik held a position as a Visiting PhD Candidate at the European University Institute from September 2021 to August 2022, and as a Campaign Fellow at BKB | Het Campagnebureau from September 2019 to July 2020. Diederik holds a PhD in Political Economy from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master of Science in Political Economy of Europe from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
