Douwe Smit

Douwe Smit is a consultant at ING in the Reference Data Management department within the Credit Risk tribe, focusing on the implementation of static data for PD, LGD, and EAD models since November 2021. Previously, Douwe served as a young professional at Solid Professionals and worked as a tutor for Bijles bij Ben, providing additional instruction in economics, business economics, and mathematics to secondary school students. Douwe was also a student representative during the Master's program at Nyenrode Business Universiteit in 2020. Earlier experiences include an internship at SRON Netherlands Institute for Space Research, where Douwe worked on a cost estimation project for a space simulator, and teaching positions at Stichting Bijlesned en Huiswerkned. Douwe holds a Master's degree in Financial Management from Nyenrode Business University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Groningen.
