Ehsan Mehdad

Ehsan Mehdad, PhD, is currently a Data Science Manager and Chapter Lead at ING, where they manage a team of data scientists and analysts, focusing on creating value through automation and machine learning in People Analytics. They earned a PhD from Tilburg University, defending a thesis on simulation optimization using Gaussian processes, and previously worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Deloitte Nederland, leading AI initiatives and scalable process automation projects. Ehsan also held the role of Machine Learning Expert at SynerScope B.V., where they developed machine learning features for the company's products. Additionally, they completed a Research Master in Operations Research at Tilburg University.
