Emiel Borgh

Emiel Borgh is an accomplished finance leader with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Head of Finance Global Wholesale Banking at ING since April 2010. In this role, Emiel oversees Management Information, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Cost Control across 35 countries. Emiel's previous positions at ING include Lead Business Management for Retail Banking Benelux and Lead Finance Business Advice, where strategic development and performance management were key responsibilities. Emiel also held a business control role in Retail NL and played a significant part in transforming the Private Banking & Investments segment towards an agile organization. Additionally, Emiel serves as a Non-Executive Board Member of the BDR Thermea Foundation and has a background in corporate strategy and project management from ING and Heineken. Emiel holds an Executive Master in Finance & Control from Nyenrode Business University and an MSc in Technology Management from the University of Groningen.
