Geert Bierman

Geert Bierman is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in commodity finance and risk analysis. They served as a Senior Risk Analyst at ABN AMRO Bank NV from 2001 to 2005 and later held various roles at ING, including Director of Commodity Finance from 2009 to 2023. Geert also worked at ABN AMRO in multiple capacities, including Assistant Director of Conduit Securitisation and Product Manager for Commodity Finance. Currently, Geert is the Director of Loan Syndicate for Commodity Clients at ING, focusing on the origination and structuring of syndicated financing transactions. Geert holds a BS degree from Hoge Hotelschool Maastricht, completed between 1988 and 1992.
