Glynis van Leem

Glynis van Leem, CGSS, CCP, possesses extensive expertise in compliance and sanctions, currently serving as an FCC Sanctions Specialist in Group Compliance at ING since July 2017. Previous positions at ING included roles such as Compliance Officer focused on Treating Customers Fairly and Regulatory Compliance & Conduct. Prior experience at MUFG Bank (Europe) N.V. from August 2013 to June 2017 encompassed various positions in the Sanctions Support Unit and Compliance Division, along with a role as a Corporate Banking Assistant. Early career experience included a brief stint in marketing at KOTRA in late 2012. Glynis holds a Master of Arts in Japanese Studies from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from both Leiden University and Sophia University, complemented by studies at Nagasaki University.
