Hans Damen

Hans Damen is a creative and versatile banking professional currently serving as the Managing Director of Credit Restructuring at ING since 2015. With extensive experience in sourcing, structuring, and restructuring complex financial transactions, they have established and managed a high-performing team in the TMT sector. Prior to their current role, Damen held various positions at ING from 2002 to 2015, including Director of Structured Finance and Head of Telecom, Media & Technology Finance in Germany. They graduated from Delft University of Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering and earned an EMBA from IMD Business School, complemented by training as a certified mediator. Fluent in several languages, Damen has lived and worked in multiple countries, demonstrating strong analytical and conflict resolution skills throughout their career.
