Hazel Weakly

Hazel Weakly is a distinguished technology leader currently serving as Architect V at ING, where they leverage their expertise in sociotechnical systems to drive innovation. Hazel previously held leadership roles, including Infrastructure Team Lead at Seaplane IO and Staff Security Reliability Engineer at Eden Health, where they prioritized security initiatives and improved developer experiences. As the former Principal Architect and Head of Platform at Datavant, they created strategies that enhanced organizational efficiency and fostered a collaborative culture. A respected voice in the tech community, Hazel serves on the Board of Directors for the Haskell Foundation and is the first Fellow of the Nivenly Foundation, promoting sustainable governance in open source projects. Hazel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Portland State University.
