Hendrik Sturgeon

Hendrik Sturgeon has extensive experience in finance, particularly in technology, media, and telecommunications. Currently serving as a Director at ING since August 2018, Hendrik has progressed through various roles including Vice President and Associate within the same sector. Prior to ING, a short-term contract as a Business Consultant at Advance Consulting provided expertise in funding emerging market projects. From June 2014 to March 2018, Hendrik worked as an Investment Manager at KfW DEG, a leading institution supporting private sector development in Africa. Earlier roles included Investment Analyst and Business Development Manager at PSG, and Analyst at Standard Bank Group, focusing on private equity and mergers and acquisitions. Academic credentials include completion of all levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, progress in the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) program, and an undergraduate degree in Investment and Financial Management from the University of Stellenbosch.
