Herman Veerbeek is the current Head of the legal team for Specialized Products, Restructuring & Litigation at ING, a position held since 2012. They previously served as General Counsel at ING Lease Holding NV and Director of Legal Affairs at NMB-Heller Trade Finance Limited. In addition to their corporate roles, Herman has contributed to various organizations, including serving as a member of the Supervisory Board at Free Press Unlimited and an Executive Committee Member at the EU Federation for the Factoring and Commercial Finance Industry. With a strong educational background in law from institutions including Leiden University and the College of Europe, Herman has also engaged in academia as a University Teacher at Utrecht University.
