Jaap Kes

Jaap Kes currently serves as Group Treasurer and Head of Money Market & Funding and Interest Rate Management at ING since January 2017. With a long tenure at ING Bank, beginning in 2002, Jaap Kes has held the position of Managing Director of Global Funding & Liquidity Management, coordinating global funding and liquidity strategies. Previous experience includes working as a Market Risk Analyst focused on Liquidity Risk Management. Prior to joining ING, Jaap Kes was an Asset and Liability Management Specialist at Corus from March 1999 to June 2002. Jaap Kes holds a postdoctoral degree in Investments and Securities from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) (2001-2002) and a Master of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Amsterdam (1992-1996).
