James Haines

James Haines is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Managing Director at ING since September 2024. Prior to this role, James held the position of General Manager and Head of Global Real Estate Structured Debt at Aozora Bank from November 2017 to September 2024. James also worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Director within the Japan GCIB COO division from October 2009 to October 2017. Earlier in James's career, positions included Manager at Shinsei Bank from July 2005 to June 2009 and Sales Engineer at both Hakuto Co., Ltd. and Hakuto America from June 1998 to August 2003. Academic qualifications include an M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, a Master's Degree from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's Degree from Amherst College.
