Joop Rabou

Joop Rabou is a seasoned professional in information risk management with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Information Risk Manager at ING since January 2018, Joop has also worked as an interim manager earlier that same year. Previous roles include Head of Operational Risk & Management Control at de Volksbank, where Joop was responsible for supporting the bank's second-line risk management functions. Joop's expertise extends to academia as a freelance lecturer in Information Provision and Control at Nyenrode Business University, alongside holding consulting and managerial positions at Rabobank. Joop's career began at Nederlandse Spoorwegen as a Senior Internal Auditor, following a solid educational background with degrees in Accountancy and Information Risk Management from the University of Amsterdam and TIAS School for Business and Society.
