Katarina van der Luit

Katarina van der Luit is a seasoned professional in the field of financial analysis and risk management, currently serving as a Research & Advice Professional specializing in Model Validation at ING since May 2018. Prior to this role, Katarina held the position of Quantitative Risk Analyst at Erste Group, where responsibilities included validating market risk models and authoring technical documents on key topics such as Value at Risk and backtesting methodologies. Katarina's career also includes experience as a Tax Revenue Analyst at the IFP - Institute for Financial Policy, focusing on tax revenue forecasts and the implications of changes in the tax-benefit system, as well as a brief tenure as a Financial Planning Analyst at the State Treasury in Slovakia. Katarina earned a Master's degree in economic and financial mathematics from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave between 2008 and 2013.
