Koen Straesser

Koen Straesser is currently a Non Financial Risk Officer at ING, where they focus on enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining acceptable risk levels. With past experience as a Consultant in IT Governance Risk Compliance at VIVAT Verzekeringen and as the Head of IT Department at REAAL Verzekeringen, Koen has demonstrated expertise in governance processes, strategic consultancy, and process improvement. They have also held various roles in IT service management and project management, contributing to several organizations through change management and operational risk initiatives. Koen is pursuing a Post Doc in Information Technology from Leiden University and a Master’s degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
