Marc Borghans

Marc Borghans is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in structured finance and risk management. Currently serving as the Director and head of Sustainable Structured Finance at ING since December 2015, Marc has a strong background in acquisition finance and structured lending, having held several leadership roles from January 2008 to November 2015, including Regional Manager and Senior Project Manager. Prior to these positions, Marc gained valuable experience at ING Barings as the Director of Offshore Oil & Gas and has worked in various roles at ING since 1995, including Principal Risk Management and Senior Credit Analyst. Marc holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has furthered education at Nyenrode Business University and Brandeis International Business School.
