Marcel Haegens

Marcel Haegens is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in project management and feature engineering, currently serving as a Feature Engineer/IT Integrator at ING since June 2017. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from May 2013 to May 2017, leading the MIFID2 – Record Keeping General project to ensure compliance with MIFID2 regulations. Previously, Marcel worked at ING as a Project Manager from April 2005 to November 2012, overseeing multiple data migration projects within the payments domain following the integration of ING bank and Postbank applications. Early career years were spent at Rabobank ICT from August 1993 to March 2005, where Marcel held several roles including Cobol developer and functional designer, contributing to various projects in the payments sector. Marcel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht obtained in 1992.
