Marco van Dam

Marco van Dam is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in engineering management and cloud technologies. Currently serving as IT Area Lead CAM and Chapter Lead for both Cloud and Continuous Delivery at ING since September 2018, Marco manages a team of approximately 15-20 engineers in The Netherlands and 30 FTE in India, focusing on global pipeline decomposition and migration to TFS-Azure DevOps. Prior experience at ING includes roles such as IT Expert and Sr. IT Specialist in Savings & Loans and Mortgages, contributing to significant migration projects. Marco began their career at Sixt rent a car as Fleet Manager and had earlier experience at Aon in claims administration. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology from Hogeschool INHOLLAND.
