Marieke Blom

Marieke Blom is the Chief Economist and Global Head of Research at ING, where they lead the Global Research team, focusing on business cycles, markets, and economic trends. Marieke's previous roles include serving as a Political Advisor for PvdA and various positions at ING, including Head Economist for ING Netherlands. They have also contributed to the Ministerie van Economische Zaken en Klimaat and the Commissie Macrodoelmatigheid MBO. Marieke holds a degree in General and Monetary Economics from the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
