Mathias Van Maercke

Mathias Van Maercke is a seasoned professional in the transport and logistics sector, currently serving as the Global Lead Containers at ING, a position held since 2025. They previously directed operations in the US market, managing transactions and client relationships. Mathias' career began with a management traineeship and progressed through various roles at ING, including Vice President in structured finance and risk analysis in Amsterdam. They hold multiple law degrees, including a Master's from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a Master's in General Management from Vlerick Business School. Mathias is also pursuing Level 1 certification from the CFA Institute.
