Mertin Cimen is currently a Financial Risk Officer for Structured Debt & Equity at ING, a position held since 2023. Previously, Mertin served as an Investment Manager for Debt at RiverBank S.A. in 2022 and as a Senior Consultant in M&A and Debt Advisory at EY from 2019 to 2022. Mertin also gained foundational experience as a Lending Specialist and in sales support roles at Rabobank from 2009 to 2018, alongside tutoring young pupils in mathematics and economics in 2015. Mertin earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from VU University Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Services Management from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
