Michael Busch

Michael Busch is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure Strategy & Enablement at ING since January 2019. In this role, Michael is responsible for crafting the Hybrid Cloud Strategy and enhancing service maturity via standardization and productization. Previously, Michael held various leadership positions at ING, including Head of Technology for Business Banking & Customer Interactions and Head of Technology at ING Hubs Romania, where strategic technology architecture and capabilities were developed. With a career beginning at ABN AMRO and roles at Fortis Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland Business, Michael's expertise spans core banking strategy, software delivery, and technology integration. Michael's educational background includes a General Management Program at Harvard Business School and a Master’s in Financial Management from Nyenrode Business University.
