Michael Chen

Michael Chen is a Director in the Asset-Based Lending Group at ING, where they originate and structure loan investments in leveraged buyouts and acquisitions. With a background that includes senior roles at Houlihan Lokey and NewStar Financial, Michael has extensive experience in financial restructuring and leveraged finance. They also served as an Independent Intellectual Property Consultant in the biotech sector early in their career. Michael holds a BS in Biology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University, a Graduate Certificate in Finance from Harvard University, and an MBA in Finance from USC Marshall School of Business.
