Michiel De Vries has extensive experience in legal counsel and management within the financial services sector, specifically at ING. Beginning in December 1996 as a Corporate Legal Counsel, Michiel progressed through various roles, including positions in the IT, E-Commerce, and Intellectual Property Law sectors, as well as in the facilities management/procurement department. From August 2002 to February 2020, Michiel served as Senior Legal Counsel in the Legal IT, Procurement & Privacy department. Since February 2020, Michiel has held the position of Head Legal IT, Procurement & Privacy. Michiel holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Public and Private Economic Law from Utrecht University and is currently furthering education at Tilburg University.
