Niek Houterman

Niek Houterman is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions within the financial institutions sector. Currently serving as Vice President in Financial Institutions Advisory M&A at ING since June 2022, Niek previously held the role of Senior Associate in Corporate Finance M&A - FIG Advisory at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from September 2019 to May 2022. Prior experience includes banking supervision at De Nederlandsche Bank, where Niek was responsible for account supervision and risk analysis. Niek's academic background includes a Master of Science in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam and a Master of Science in Economic Policy from UCL.
