Nikolaus Drexler

Nikolaus Drexler is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Loan Capital Markets at ING since December 2018, where Nikolaus leads the Western European Corporates team in London. Prior to this role, Nikolaus held the position of Executive Director for Loan Origination at Crédit Agricole CIB from March 2011 to October 2018, focusing on corporate loan origination and structuring across the German, UK, and Nordic markets. Nikolaus also served as Vice President for Loan Markets at Banco Santander from September 2009 to March 2011 and in a similar capacity at Barclays Capital from December 2005 to June 2009. Nikolaus began a career in finance as an Associate in the Retail Sector at HSBC Bank plc from November 2002 to December 2005, after completing a BSc (Hons) in Economics at City St George’s, University of London in 2002.
