Olivier Vaessen

Olivier Vaessen is an experienced IT Engineer currently serving as the Product Owner for the "Data Science & Customers Interactions" Tribe at ING, where they focus on SAS IT applications within a cross-border environment between Belgium and the Netherlands. Previously, Olivier managed multiple squads such as "The Thunderbirds," "The Jets," and "The Cereal Killers," overseeing the development and management of SAS-based applications related to Marketing Analytics. They have a strong background in project management, holding certifications as a ScrumMaster and in PRINCE2 and ITIL. Olivier's early career included roles as a technical analyst and application developer at BBL, working with Cobol in a mainframe environment. They earned a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Institut Paul Lambin.
