Padraig Matthews

Padraig Matthews is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in international corporate banking, currently serving as Director & Sector Head of Lending at ING Wholesale Banking since September 2009. In this role, Padraig oversees lending activities for large corporate clients across the US and EMEA, managing multi-product teams across various key sectors. Prior to joining ING, Padraig held the position of Associate Director in Integrated Finance at Bank of Scotland from September 1998 to August 2008, focusing on leveraged finance and equity investments in mid-market private equity transactions and structured finance for asset-backed joint ventures. Padraig holds a Chartered Banker and MCIBS qualification from the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland and has an educational background from the University of Reading.
