Paul Thom has extensive experience in shipping finance, currently serving as Director of Shipping Finance at ING since April 2014, following a role as Vice President of Ship Finance. Prior experience includes financial analysis at Navig8 Group and positions at Lloyds Banking Group, including Associate Director of Ship Finance, where Paul managed a $2bn portfolio and facilitated complex restructures. Additionally, Paul held the position of Finance Manager at Rig Funding (Cayman) Limited, overseeing high-value oil asset construction projects, and contributed to Lloyds TSB as Associate Director of Ship Finance, focusing on market expansion in Greece, Turkey, and the Middle East. Paul Thom holds a Diploma in Corporate Treasury from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and a BSc in Business Studies from Lancaster University.
