Pieternel Aarts

Pieternel Aarts is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various roles within ING. As the Managing Director of ING Business Banking since January 2020, Pieternel Aarts oversees Lending & Event Finance. Prior to this role, Pieternel Aarts served as Directeur of Private Wealth Management and Directeur of Informal Investment & Financial Structuring from September 2012 to January 2020. Earlier experience includes positions such as Regiodirecteur Acquisition Finance & Structured Lending, Projectmanager Investment Finance, and Associate Acquisition Finance, among others. Pieternel Aarts began the career at ING in 2003 after completing a degree in economics at the University of Groningen and further education at INSEAD.
