Probal Banerjee

Probal Banerjee is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in client coverage and wholesale banking. Currently serving as Managing Director at ING since September 2017, Probal previously held the position of Executive Director at DBS Bank, leading the Large Corporates division for India from August 2008 to June 2017. Probal’s banking career also includes a tenure as Vice President in Corporate Banking at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from May 2002 to August 2008, and roles at IDBI Bank focusing on corporate banking for wholesale clients in Kolkata from April 1997 to April 2002. Probal is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also holds the designation of Cost Accountant from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, specializing in Cost & Management Accounting and Cost Audit.
