Richard Veenman

Richard Veenman has over two decades of experience at ING, currently serving as Chapter Lead Enterprise Architecture, where responsibilities include oversight of key domains such as Financial Crime & Fraud Prevention, ESG, Non-Financial Risk, Compliance, and CAS, while leading a team of Domain & Enterprise Architects. Prior roles at ING include Domain Architect GKYC, where Richard developed the GKYC architecture for a global program, and IT Building Block Architect - Risk, focused on translating business roadmaps into IT strategies for market and credit risk applications. Additionally, Richard has experience as an Infrastructure Support Team Lead, during which Richard managed HR applications, and as a PeopleSoft Application Developer. Outside of ING, Richard was a Professional Poker Player from 2009 to 2013, achieving sponsorship with PokerStars. Richard holds an Ingenieur degree in Informatica & Informatiekunde from De Haagse Hogeschool.
