Sander Bessels is an experienced BI Consultant and DataStage Developer with a strong background in Data Lake development and Data Warehouse implementation. Currently at ING since November 2016, Sander specializes in DataStage and Netezza as part of external consultancy linked to KVL. Prior experience includes technical design and implementation of a Data Warehouse for ASR Life Insurance while at KVL Inspiratie Technologie, where Sander has been since January 2015. Sander has also served as the lead BI developer at AEGON Asset Management from 2009 to January 2015, focusing on DataStage, Business Objects, and Markit EDM. Earlier roles include Senior BI Developer at a.s.r. and a High Potential Trainee at KVL Inspiratie Technologie, along with teaching mathematics at Bonaventura College Leiden and Groene Hart Lyceum. Sander holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Utrecht University, obtained in 2005.
