Semih Acikgoz

Semih Acikgoz is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Associate in Energy Sector Coverage at ING since July 2019, focusing on hydrocarbons and new energies. Previously, Acikgoz worked as an Analyst in NBFI Lending, specializing in credit analysis for reinsurers, asset owners, and asset managers, as well as transaction management. Starting as an ITP trainee, various rotations included Mid-Corp Lending and Corporate Sector Lending. Prior to ING, Acikgoz interned at the U.S. Commercial Service, assisting sector specialists and conducting market research. As a National Modern Pentathlete, Acikgoz achieved recognition as a Biathlon World Champion and established several national records in swimming and modern pentathlon. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from Bilkent University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Burgundy School of Business.
