Shankar Burra

Shankar Burra is an experienced origination and syndication banker focused on South Asia and ASEAN. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Sector Coverage at ING's India banking business, Shankar specializes in structuring and executing complex debt facilities across various sectors. Previously, Shankar held leadership roles at ICICI Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where they managed corporate relationships and syndication processes. Shankar earned a dual degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and Economics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, followed by a PGDM in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
