Simon Zheng is a seasoned professional in financial quantitative modeling and risk management, currently serving as the Director of Model Validation at ING since 2025. With a robust background that includes roles such as Executive Director at OCBC and Senior Financial Engineer at Manulife Financial, Simon has extensive experience in developing and validating analytical models across various financial instruments. Simon holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Financial Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Toronto, which have equipped them with a deep understanding of complex modeling methodologies, including Stochastic Differential Equations and risk adjustments such as FVA, DVA, and CVA.
