Stefano Gherardi

Stefano Gherardi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in structured export finance and risk management. Currently serving as Director at ING since January 2017, Gherardi oversees the origination, structuring, and execution of structured export finance transactions, managing all phases of deal life cycles. Prior to this role, Gherardi was Vice President of Structured Export Finance at ABK Group and held the position of Export Manager, driving export sales in international markets. Gherardi's career also includes significant experience as a Relationship Manager and Policy Underwriter at SACE, focusing on various financial products and services in Italy. Earlier roles in risk management at AXA and Banca Mediolanum, combined with a foundation as a Junior Economist at Prometeia, complement Gherardi's robust profile. Gherardi holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Analysis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia.
