Stella Tan

Stella Tan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange trading and banking supervision. Currently serving as the Director for Asia EM FX and Rates Trading at ING since August 2010, Stella specializes in market-making for PHP, MYR NDF, and THB spot/swaps, along with quoting various currencies such as IDR, TWD, CNH, INR NDF, and SGD, HKD spot/swaps, while also focusing on client relationship building. Prior to this, Stella held positions at MUFG as an FX Swap and Asian NDF Trader, managing order flows and market-making responsibilities, and at HSBC in corporate banking for multinational corporations. Early career experience includes a role at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where Stella supervised local banks for compliance and risk management. Stella holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) in Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, and has participated in the University Scholars Programme, all from the National University of Singapore.
