Steven Roest

Steven Roest is an experienced professional in the field of product design and user experience, currently serving as Lead Platform Experience at ING since July 2016. In this newly created role, Steven focuses on transforming the platform into a product that emphasizes user-centricity and design thinking. Prior to this, Steven held various leadership roles at ING, including Product Area Lead for One Experience, responsible for the Unified Design System, and Managing Consultant/Product Owner overseeing the front-end UI library. Steven's background includes senior UX design at Informaat, and a tenure as CEO of Brandcams International. Additionally, Steven founded NoProtocol, where responsibilities included client direction and project management. Earlier career experience encompasses freelance web design and founding roles in multiple design agencies. Steven's education includes studies at ArtEZ University of the Arts and Het Baarnsch Lyceum.
