Tanate Phutrakul is the current Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ING. Tanate has over 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industry.
Tanate started their career at ING Bank in Thailand in 1998 as the Country Manager and Head of Corporate Finance. In 2003, they moved to TMB Bank PCL as the CFO where they were responsible for management, financial accounting, corporate treasury, funding and liquidity management, capital raising and management, and investors relations.
In 2008, Tanate moved back to ING Bank and became the CFO for the Ops & IT division which provides operations and technology services globally to ING Wholesale, Retail banking units, and Insurance. In 2012, they became the CFO for Retail Banking International covering Western, Central & Eastern Europe (excluding Benelux) and Asia.
Tanate is currently the CFO at ING.
Tanate Phutrakul has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a M.Eng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
Tanate Phutrakul reports to Steven Van Rijswijk, CEO. Tanate Phutrakul works with Ljiljana Čortan - Chief Risk Officer, Marnix Van Stiphout - COO & CTO, and Gerald Walker - CEO, Americas.
